01
Full Inspection
A licensed technician walks the attic, crawl space, garage and exterior perimeter, usually 45 to 90 minutes. We use inspection mirrors, flashlights and thermal imaging cameras to read runs, droppings and entry points you cannot see from the ground. You get a written findings summary before any work begins.
02
Species and Severity ID
Roof rats, Norway rats and house mice behave differently, and the treatment changes with the species. We confirm what is in the building, estimate the population and identify active nesting areas. That determines trap placement, bait choice and how long the trapping phase will run.
03
Trapping and Removal
We set snap traps, live catch traps and locked bait stations along the runs the animals actually use. Stations are secured and labeled per Florida pest control license requirements. Most residential infestations are cleared in 7 to 14 days, with check-ins every few days to pull catches and reset.
04
Exclusion and Sealing
Once activity drops, we close the building. Copper mesh and steel wool pack plumbing and utility penetrations, exclusion sealant closes cracks, and we install door sweeps, vent covers and chimney caps where needed. This is the step that keeps a reinfestation from starting the week after we leave.
05
Sanitation and Final Walk
We remove droppings, disinfect contaminated surfaces and apply deodorizer to the attic or crawl space. Insulation damage is documented with photos. The final walk covers what we sealed, what we caught and what to watch for over the next 30 days.
